School Holiday Family Creativity

A white reception desk with a sign that reads 'The Joyful Creative' in red cursive text. Behind the desk, a pegboard wall holds books, a tote bag, and a small shelf. A vase with pink flowers and a small candle are on the desk. To the right, there is a green potted plant. The room has light-colored curtains and hardwood flooring.

Create, connect and unwind together these school holidays at The Joyful Creative.

These gentle sessions are designed for school-aged children and teenagers and their adult carers to enjoy side-by-side, offering a calm and welcoming space to slow down and make something together. Each session includes a simple, guided creative activity designed to be accessible, relaxing and enjoyable for all ages, regardless of experience.

There’s no pressure to “get it right” or create anything perfect - just an opportunity to spend quality time together, explore creativity and enjoy a shared moment of calm during the busy school holiday period.

All materials are provided, and sessions are intentionally kept small to ensure a comfortable and supportive environment.

Dates: 13–17 April
Session times: 12pm, 1pm & 2pm (1 hour sessions, however multiple sessions can be booked if you’d like to stay longer)

Cost $15 per person per session.

Please note: children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult carer for the duration of the session.

We look forward to welcoming you and your little (or big) creatives to the studio!
